Submission Deadline (by e-mail only)
·All participants are invited to present their research in Poster form.
Abstracts should be submitted as E-mail attachment files (MS Word RTF and
PDF if possible) to the Secretariat at email@example.com. by Oct. 1, 2003.
·A sample Abstact can be downloaded from the website (click here to download the PDF and RTF files )and used as template for
preparing the Abstract. Please contact the Secretariat by mail or fax in case of difficulty in obtaining this form or accessing the Internet.
·Authors are required to select up to 2 (in priority sequence) out of the 6
symposium topics that best reflect the theme of their work.The six topics include (1) Structural Biophysics (2) Cell & Membrane Biophysics (3) Neurobiophysics & Cell Motility (4) Biophysical Technology (5) Computational Biophysics (6) Imaging & Single Molecules.
· Upon receipt, the Secretariat will review the abstract’s format immediately, and acknowledgment will be made in 7 days.
Please follow the Format Guideline:
·Typed in English, within a 18 cm wide by 11.5 cm high area; do not indent paragraph; use Times New Roman for all text, 12 pt (font style: bold) for the title, 10 pt font size for main text.
·Type the text (including any tables) in single-line spacing and an after-paragraph spacing of 6 pts.
·Title, authors, and affiliation should be centered; full address of the presenting author should be given. Do not include titles (such as Dr., Prof., PhD., etc.)
·Use 12 pt boldface lettering for title, 10 pt normal font for authors' names, indicating presenting author with a superscript [*] and distinguish affiliation by superscript numbers; 10 pt italic font for affiliation and addreess.
·Save the file and name it using the initial and family name of the presenting author e.g. jadole.rtf if the presenting author is John A. Dole.
IMPORTANT: Please proofread your abstracts carefully that will appear in the Abstract Book as submitted. Do not use a dot matrix printer. Character size must be 10 point.
